Come
visit Wings of Hope Wildlife Sanctuary for fun, food, and falconry. The 2011
Wings of Hope Open House will be held on Saturday, December 3rd from 1-6 PM.
The Open House
gives the public a chance to come in and see what
really goes on behind the doors at Wings of Hope. This only happens once a year.
- Tours of the facility will be given throughout the day.
- Our longtime falconer friend, David McFarland, will be back flying his Harris Hawk,
Ditto.
He will be hunting with Ditto a little before the Open House. If you
would like to watch falconry in practice bring old clothes and boots, and show
up at 12:30.
- Wings of Hope will hold a silent auction at the Open House. We have received many beautiful and unique donated items.
- The donated items have come from friends in Louisiana, as well as other States. We have even received items from friends in Canada, Thailand and Brazil. Items include a quilt, jewelry, handbags, prints of the various wildlife to include prints from some of the wildlife at Wings of Hope and many more.
- Only cash and check will be accepted.
- This year we have added Face Painting for our younger animal
enthusiast.
- Come early to participate in our new Wine Tasting event!
So mark your calendar and come join us for a great time at
the Wings of Hope Wildlife Sanctuary on December
3rd.
