Wings of Hope Wildlife Sanctuary is a rehabilitation center first and foremost.  Contact the Wings of Hope Wildlife Sanctuary immediately, if you discover an injured wild bird or mammal, have concerns regarding a possible orphaned wild bird or mammal or have any questions.

It has been a very busy for the staff and volunteers at the Wings of Hope Wildlife Sanctuary this year.  Many animals have come to Wings: orphaned, ill or injured. We would like to say that all of the animals were or will eventually be rehabilitated and returned to the wild, but unfortunately that is not always the case.  However, we were able to release many birds and mammals to their native habitat.

This Great-Horned Owl was one of first babies we received this year.  She was a big ball of fluff when she came to Wings of Hope.  After a few weeks at Wings of Hope, she was moved into Shegor’s mew where Shegor became her surrogate mom.  After several weeks with Shegor, the baby matured into a young adult and demonstrated her newly learned flying ability.  She was then moved to the flight cage for mouse school in preparation for her release.  After she graduated mouse school she was released back to the wild.
