Leslie Lattimore, our Director and "chief" rehabilitator, has a long record of success in both rehabilitation and professional life. Mrs. Lattimore has been involved in rehabilitation for longer than she can remember and is active in both the National Wildlife Rehabilitators Association (NWRA) and Louisiana Wildlife Rehabilitators Association (LAWRA). Mrs. Lattimore is instrumental in the continued development of LAWRA. On a national level, she is on the board of the National Wildlife Rehabilitators Association (NWRA). Mrs. Lattimore is also the only professionally-trained bat rehabilitator in the state of Louisiana. She has trained future rehabilitators and actively educates the public state-wide about Wildlife Rehabilitation.
